Our family vacation was absolutely incredible. We were enveloped in the beauty of Asian landscapes, indulged in exquisite cuisine, and cherished precious moments together. And just when we were relaxed and ready to return to our obligations, the airline world decided to strike.

We managed to arrange an extremely lucrative meeting in the middle of the holiday season. All the details were taken care of and that’s when the seemingly simple trip turned into a nightmare.

Dubai. The most important trade show in my industry. All the planes were booked because everyone wanted to be there. My trip was planned down to the smallest detail, and everything was perfect.  Just before the start, it turns out that the transfer time is running out. 30 minutes, 20, 10, 6… .

Close your eyes and imagine a perfect vacation with your loved ones on your favorite island. Sun, ocean, no deadlines. But then, the spell breaks. The plane can’t approach for landing correctly, and the pleasant moments on the beach with my daughter are replaced by stress and the question: will we be able to land today?

Organizing a trip to the other side of the world is not a piece of cake.  We had visas, tickets, scheduled transfers and arrived at the airport on time. What could potentially go wrong? Everything – if you ask me.
